Meet DJ Blake
Born and raised in Austin, Texas, DJ Blake grew up immersed in the heartbeat of the city’s legendary music scene. His father, a stage manager for iconic artists like Stevie Ray Vaughan and Eric Johnson, introduced him to live music at an early age — sparking a lifelong passion for sound, entertainment, and connection through music.
Blake started DJing school events while still in high school, and quickly became a go-to name on the UT campus, spinning for countless fraternity and sorority parties. By 2003, he had officially stepped into the world of weddings — and he’s never looked back. In 2007, he helped open a wedding venue in Round Rock, where he continues to DJ to this day.
A seasoned professional, DJ Blake has served as the official DJ and MC for numerous longstanding events, including the March of Dimes charity galas (2005–2014), the YMCA Youth & Government Conference (2014–present), and the annual Riverplace Elementary Charity Gala & Auction (2015–present).
With a deep love for music across genres — from classic and Texas country to classic rock, old-school hip hop, and EDM — Blake brings an open-format, house-party style to the dance floor. His sets are known for creative live mashups, smooth transitions, and crowd-hyping energy behind the mic. He knows how to keep the spotlight on the couple while still bringing the fun, flair, and flow from the booth.
Blake is all about collaboration and connection. He works closely with each client to curate the perfect playlist, lighting, and vibe — bringing their vision to life in a way that feels personal, memorable, and full of joy.
